Untitled Shortie

Lezard was slow to wake, eyes heavy with sleep. His body felt comfortable, sated, pressed up against something soft and warm. He snuggled closer to that softness, rubbing his cheek against cool silk that tickled against his skin. His nose itched, and he fought back a sneeze, blinking open his eyes. It was hair he laid against, soft silver blue strands that were unbound, hanging loose against a naked back.

With a loud yawn, Lezard sat up, feeling the blanket slide down his body, leaving him naked down to the waist. He stretched, raising his arms up over his head, working out the kinks in his shoulders. He then ran a hand through his bangs, trying to sweep the long strands out of his eyes. He sighed, seeing the room looked blurry to him. For some reason, even after attaining the power of a God, perfect vision still eluded him. It was annoying, a sour note to an otherwise flawless victory, and with a low muted growl he was turning towards the night stand.

Squinting he could just make out his glasses, and he reached for them, sliding the gold tinted spectacles into place. The room came into focus, elegant design, extravagant in it’s display of furniture. Another smaller yawn from him, and he turned to glance down at the bed. He stared at the woman who lay on her side, back to him. He watched her carefully, noticing with a start that she was breathing.

His hand shaking, he reached out to touch a fingertip against the small of her back, pulling back with a start. Her skin was hot, the spark of warmth that came with being alive. He stared some more, and memories flooded back, of his fight with the Dipan Princess and her companions. Of his ultimately winning, and releasing Lenneth from her crystal prison. She was real, and she was here. No cold and lifeless homunculus doll in his bed, but a living and breathing Goddess!

His hands were already pealing back the bed sheets, revealing her gloriously naked body to him. His hands moved her, rolling her onto her back, Lenneth still deep asleep. He let out a sharp intake of breath, and the next thing he knew he was falling down on top of her. He crushed her against his chest, running his hands all over her soft skin, murmuring endearments into her ears. Kisses fell over her flesh, and he felt her stir, murmuring sleepy protests as he laved attention onto her. A jubilant laugh from Lezard, hugging her tighter, encouraging her to wake up completely. After all, they had much to celebrate.
